An update from us regarding the Coronavirus situation…

We are remaining open throughout the lockdown commencing 5th November.

Update re: November Lockdown

To confirm, our practice is able to continue operating through the new lockdown, and we have all the appropriate precautions in place to continue helping you with your dental needs. For any queries please do get in touch.

Update re: March Lockdown

We hope you are all keeping well.

We thought it was time for an update from Royal Mews.

Dental practices were mandated to close on 23rd March and we had to comply.  We had spent the previous week providing a reduced level of care and the order to close wasn’t a surprise, and indeed, was greeted with some relief as we felt that we may have been a source of spread of the virus if we had continued to remain open.

I won’t presume to know what this period of lockdown is like for you.  I understand that we are not all in the same boat.  Someone else wrote that we are all enduring the same storm but in vastly differing boats.  I just wish you all the very best now and always.

Leaving dentistry to one side for a moment if I or any of our wonderful team can help in any way please get in touch.  Our contact details are at the end of this email.

In regard to dentistry and your oral health in particular, the usual advice applies which is to brush and clean between your teeth twice a day for at least 2 minutes and avoid sugary snacks and drinks between meals.

If you have a dental problem then please contact us. Although not ideal, we have been able to help in the vast majority of cases and on the few occasions when we cannot help we are able to refer you to one of the local urgent dental care hubs.

We are eager to return to work and to providing the care you expect and deserve but we have to wait for the green light. To this end we have been keeping abreast of the ongoing advice and making changes to the practice and our protocols to make it as safe as possible for you, the patients, and our team. We will update you later when we know the full extent of the changes we will be making.

We are now able to offer online consultations.  This was initially aimed towards Adam’s Invisalign and orthodontic patients to check progress of the treatment remotely and answer queries. It can also work for patients considering Invisalign prior to booking a face to face appointment. We have also used it for general dental enquiries.  If you wish to book an online consultation simply contact us and we can arrange it.

Rest assured that we are still here to help you in any way we can and we will be returning to work as soon as we are allowed to do so.
